palm pre stuck in headset mode...

the palm pre's lifespan, at least in my hands, is less than a year. this is my second device, with my third supposedly coming in the mail monday. my first device's screen cracked @ the usb port. this one is STUCK IN HEADSET MODE and makes an awful shrill noise if you plug a headset in (as illustrated in the video). super uber whack sauce! ...but don't get me wrong, i love this phone! i really appreciate the slide-out keyboard and smaller-than-your-hand form factor. if only palm would get it together and make it a little beefier! *sigh!*
