i should've put my funds into some gold or something.  the price of gold stocks are off the charts right now!  i hate managing my own $.  all these ups and downs make me not want to put $ in b/c i feel like i'm just going to loose it the very next day.  i wish i had a 401k already...  grr!

omfg i drank 10 cups of coffee today...

i felt soOoooOoooOOOooOo sick towards the middle to tail end of my day! almost like a hang over... so i decided to google "caffine hangover" + ends up it's a real term other people use! so much for that wonderful new coffee maker i bought yesterday... strike the wonderful + insert "gurgle-barf" instead! gah!  :/

i've switched us to original blend american spirt rolling tobacco in my feeble attempt to ween us off of cigarettes. switching from marlboro menthol lights to american spirit lights (yellow box) significantly cut down our smokey consumption so i'm hoping the pain of having to roll-your-own will motivate us to eventually quit or at least reduce our current intake by like x5. wish us luck! :)

we hit up carnation golf course yesterday and ran out of balls at the 17th hole! i was playing SUPER wonky --- lost 6 hot pink precept lady iq balls (thumbs down btw!) + at least 3 random strays we picked up along the way!  today, brad had this really great idea to pick up a bunch of different brands + ball types to see which one we each played the best with.  here's what went down @ tall chief...

merc: "i'm a pretty consistent straight shot and these bad boys sliced far right each time. boo!"

merc: "these came highly recommended by one of the puetz golf guys. i feel like these balls were heavy. i had a hard time getting them into the air, but they did go a fair distance and flew straight so i guess they're not bad.  brad's a fan of how i hit w/ these so might give 'em another try."
